We just got more clarification from Census Bureau geography staff on the Urban Area release dates.<br>
<br>
1. The Census Bureau will announce the list of Urban Areas and their populations based on the 2010 Census in early 2012.<br>
<br>
2. TIGER/Line shapefiles with boundaries for these areas will be available in Spring 2012.<br>
<br>
3. 2010 Census data will be released later in the year in the Summary File 1 Urban/Rural Update.<br>
