The 1980 data were called the Urban Transportation Planning Package (UTPP). Workplace location coding was limited to the urban areas covered by the DIME files. We have the UTPP data for the Seattle region at a geography approximating 1980 TAZs – but I'm unsure whether there is a central repository for the UTPP data.

Hi Folks,

I’ve been trying to locate CTTP 1980 data at the tract or TAZ level (if they exist; I was looking for 1970 data as well, but I’m not holding my breath). So far, I’ve only found the 1980 county level data from BEA.

Does anyone have any pointers or know if those data were ever compiled?
