Yesterday evening the house approved in a roll call vote an amendment to H.R. 5326 (Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2013) to end funding for the ACS.    It is unlikely that this action will go further (the senate is unlikely to follow suit).  But it sure is a wake up call.
