This coming July, we will hold our midyear meeting in conjunction with
the TRB Summer Conference in Chicago. By now this should not come as a
surprise to anyone. Attached is our meeting agenda. We will be meeting
Monday morning for 1 hour 45 minutes. If you look at the agenda you
will see that we will spend most of our time focusing on what I would
call committee infrastructure and administrative matters in addition to
the planning for the Annual Meeting. While I am thinking about
administrative infrastructure also attached is Mark Norman's Summer
"State of TRB" report.
I know we will not have a large attendance at the meeting but we will be
laying the groundwork that will move the committee well into the future.
If you are planning to attend please drop me a quick email and let me
know. Thanks

Hi Everyone hope this finds you all doing well! Attached is a call
for abstracts for the 11th National Tools of the Trade Conference, to be
held in Portland in September 2008. Its sponsored by TRB Committee
ADA30, Transportation Planning for Small and Medium-sized Communities
and held every other year (the 2006 conference was in Nashville).
Please consider submitting an abstract based on recent work youve done
thats applicable or transferable to the small and medium-sized
communities. Feel free to forward this to any colleagues with relevant
research as well. Abstracts are due to me by October 1, 2007. So once
you complete your papers for the TRB annual meeting, please give this
some thought!
As always, feel free to contact me if any questions or if youd like
more information.
Thanks!
Stacey
