Quick update
Annual Meeting time slotting: We are getting the same times we had last
year. The Committee is meeting Monday afternoon. The Census
Subcommittee is slotted for Monday night. In many respects these are
prime times since they are early in the week. We have no other "formal"
subcommittees with scheduled meetings. Is someone starting one who
wants some time?
Our paper review is only going HO-Hum. We are sitting with 32 papers and
only 47% of the reviews are in with 1 day to go. After the reviews come
in, the process of selecting papers begins. This is not an easy
especially when reviewers do not provide any comments. But I digress.
We have 2 Sunday workshops getting organized. In the morning we have one
on the Transferability of Household Travel Survey Data and in the
afternoon one on the American Community Survey.
If anyone else has anything that they are working on relevant to the
annual meeting let us know.
